By Train

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTM Bhd) takes visitors to the Butterworth railway station on mainland of Penang. Next to it is the Butterworth Ferry Terminal whereby visitors can take a ferry ride to cross over to George Town, the capital of Penang.
